What is your favorite place that you have been to and will never forget? For me, Hue is my favorite place of all time. It’s a beautiful and poetic city in Central Vietnam with a lot of cultural interests and hidden secrets.
Referring to Hue, I can say that Hue is like a muse. Why can I say that? As in my eyes, the beauty in Hue makes this city beautiful by itself. From the landscape and the historical places, to the cuisine and the most special thing of all, the Hue people.

I remember, the first time I came to Hue. I fell in love with the sweet voice of the people here. They spoke Vietnamese with a unique voice. The voice was soft, warm, and as sweet as honey. At that time, to be honest, I even tried to ask them more questions, just to hear their voices. And then, Hue continued conquering me by the landscape, where green trees were adorned by red flowers, and a curved steam looked like the lissome hair of a beautiful woman. In addition, I also had a chance to visit some king’s tombs there with thrilling stories behind. Just because, many years ago, Hue was the capital of Vietnam for a long time. The stories about the kings and queens surprised me, because of their luxurious and wealthy life. Honestly, I wanted to know more about this place. However, I spent only two days in Hue and left her on a rainy day.

Overall, Hue will always be my favorite place on Earth. Since leaving that place, I haven’t returned. But I still remember Hue and I will definitely come back there one day to understand more about the beautiful and mysterious place.
